How to Apply for Free Electricity under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana!

This year, the Government of India introduced several ambitious initiatives, including the ‘PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana’ or ‘Rooftop Solar Yojana.’ Under the scheme, solar panels will be installed in houses to supply power to households and generate additional money for excess electricity output.

Subsidies will be transferred directly to the people’s bank accounts, and a low-interest bank loan will be given to ensure that the beneficiary is not burdened financially. The subsidy will cover up to 40% of the solar panel installation cost.
