Win Up To Rs 2 Lakh With Swachh Bharat Internship; Here Are The Details
A few years back Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was launched in order to promote cleanliness among the people living in the nation and now to further promote this cleanliness campaign, the government has introduced a new initiative to attract the youth of the country.
PM Narendra Modi a few days back announced the launch of a summer internship associated to the Swachh Bharat (Clean India) campaign. This announcement was made by PM Modi during his monthly radio address, “Mann Ki Baat”. During the address, Modi was heard urging the younger generation to become a part of this campaign during their summer vacations.
The internship is jointly designed by the education, sports and water ministries.
He was quoted as saying, “I urge the college students, NCC and NSS youth, students of Nehru Yuva Kendra to come forward and contribute towards the welfare of society”. He further added that the internship would be a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi ahead of his 150th birth anniversary on October 2.
The education ministry has also made an announcement inviting eligible students to apply for the internships. The internship is willing to offer the best interns the national-level prizes and also will be rewarded with cash prize amount up to Rs 2 lakh. The interns will also be getting incentives including credit points by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
To be eligible to win the prize, an aspiring intern must adopt a village and work diligently towards improving the condition of rural sanitation in India. The internship will be of at least 100 hours That will last starting from May 1 to July 31. Within 15 days of completing their fieldwork, the students need to submit a report on the Swachh Bharat Internship Portal. They will be helped by a supervisor assigned to them via the institutions who will also guide them throughout the internship period as per the guidelines.
College and university students can apply through the enrolment form. Interested candidates who want to register themselves for the internship can do so at their official website https://sbsi.mygov.in/. Candidates also note that since the registrations period will last from April 25 to May 15, you need to register as soon as possible.

-Firstly visit the official internship website which is https://sbsi.mygov.in/ Only a student from a registered college or a student who is already registered with NYKS (Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan) can participate in the program.
-After landing on the official internship website, click on “Login here”.
-Now candidates need to enter their Name, Mobile Number and Email in the respective blanked spaces.
-After entering the e-mail or mobile number, an OTP will be sent to you. Now use this OTP to log in.
-The last step is filling up the enrolment form
