Vodafone Red & Jio Compared; Find Out Which One Is the Best For You
Ever since Reliance Jio entered the telecom company, it has totally changed the market in terms of 4G network coverage and cost-effectiveness. The data cost has gone down and hundreds of rupees money spent on few GBs have changed to a small amount of money in which endless daily data limits are offered every day. But mostly the benefits are given to the prepaid customers as it has a huge majority of subscribers but there are some telecom service providers like Reliance and Jio which have some offerings for the post-paid subscribers.
In the post-paid plan offered by the telecom company Vodafone, the subscribers get the benefit of a free 12-month subscription to Amazon Prime. The subscribers also get a yearly membership for Vodafone Play along with which the users get access to free vouchers every month. Among the Vodafone’s Red suite, the most affordable post-paid plan is Red Entertainment and the price of this post-paid plan is 399 rupees. The subscribers get the benefit of 3G/ 4G data of 40 GB, unlimited voice calls and get the benefit of up to 200GB data rollover.
Another affordable post-paid plan offered by Vodafone is Red – Entertainment+ which comes at a -price range of 499 rupees for a monthly cycle. The users of Vodafone get up to 75GB 3G/ 4G data and the data rollov3er is similar to the pack of 399 rupees. The Rs. 499 recharge plan comes has an additional benefit of mobile insurance for life which includes damage repair, antivirus, and extended warranty.
Another Vodafone pack which is a little expensive than the other two mentioned post-paid plan comes with a price range of 1,299 rupees which is only valid for a time period of 30 days. In this plan, the subscribers get the benefit of 100GB of 3G/ 4G data with a rollover of up to 500GB. The user also gets the benefits of 100 free ISD minutes and a 2-month membership to the base plan of Netflix. Other benefits are similar to that of the recharge pack of 499 rupees. The post-paid plan named Red – Signature is available to the Vodafone post-paid subscribers at the price range of 2,999 rupees and the post-paid users receive 12 months subscription to Netflix.
Reliance Jio has recently refreshed its several packs last month and the only pack offered to the post-paid subscribers is of 199 rupees and is valid for a standard bill cycle. In this post-paid plan, the user will get a total of 25GB 4G data, free unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages, and complimentary access to Jio’s apps. The Jio users can also avail the additional data at Rs. 20 per GB for the next 500GB. But this post-paid plan also has a security deposit of Rs. 250 attached to it which is totally refundable. Reliance Jio also offers an ISD post-paid plan which comes at a price range of 501 rupees and has a validity of 28 days.
