This Simple Trick Will Help You Save Mobile Data And Frees Up Space
No one can deny that the WhatsApp takes up a huge chunk of time spent on our smartphones.
It doesn’t matter if it is for work or personal use, people are greeted with lots of message from the moment one wakes up till the time one retires at the end of the day. Forwarded messages that are received from people in the family or WhatsApp groups or the constant pings from work groups, there’s never an end to the text messages that fill up our storages very quickly.
One of the most useful WhatsApp features is that it downloads files automatically – but this can also be really annoying. But this sucks up data, and can quickly clog up your phone’s storage space. And if someone sends you a sexy selfie, it’ll appear straight in your camera roll – which can be embarrassing if you’re showing friends photos, and had no idea it was auto-saved there.
However, with more and more people are using WhatsApp, the one problem that a majority of users are facing is related to their device storage and cellular data. Since all of the media files are downloaded in your smartphone, these media files from WhatsApp take up a lot of space in the device’s internal storage. Not just that, these files also consume a lot of cellular data since WhatsApp auto-downloads all these files.
The good news is that you can save data, storage space and utter humiliation by tweaking a few simple settings.
