RSMSSB Recruitment: Posts For 11,255 Clerks, Assistant Available

The Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) has released a notification for the year 2018 to fill the vacant posts of LDC/Junior Assistant in departments/offices under the state government, RPSC and government secretariat.

Interested candidates can apply for the posts at the official website — rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates can submit their applications starting from May 10 till June 8.

Interested candidates who will apply for the available posts first make sure that they are at least 18 years old. The age of the aspirants should be maximum 40 years.
Relaxation in age will be provided as per the norms.

Candidates belonging to General /OBC category have to pay Rs 450 as an application fee, an OBC NCL candidates have to pay Rs 350 and candidates from SC/ST category have to pay Rs 250 application fee.

Vacancy details:
There are a total number of 11,255 vacancies that a candidate can apply for. Total 329 vacant posts available for the designation of Clerk Grade-II (Govt Secretariat), 9 posts available for the position of Clerk Grade-II (RPSC) and the rest i.e., 10,917 posts for the position of LDC/Junior Assistant.

Eligibility criteria:

When it comes to the educational qualification, interested applicants need to have done his senior secondary from a recognised board or should have pursued “0” or higher level certificate course conducted by DOEACC. A candidate can also have a certification in the course on computer concept by NIELIT, New Delhi.

In an alternate option, a candidate could also have a possession of computer operator and programming assistant (COPA)/data preparation and computer software (DPCS) certificate organised under National State Councillor Vocational Training Scheme.

Other than that a candidate could also possess a degree/diploma/certificate in computer science/computer application from a university established by law in India or could even have a diploma in Computer Science and engineering from a polytechnic institution recognised by the government

A candidate can also have a Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) conducted by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota under control of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited.

Selection procedure:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a written exam and typing speed test. The examination of the candidates for the selection will be held in the month of September. Candidates will be notified regarding the exact time and date later only. Admit card for the same will be released 10-15 days prior to the exam.
