RPSC Recruitment: 8162 Senior Teacher Posts Available

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer has released notification to invite applications from the eligible candidates online for the senior teacher posts in the secondary education department.

Those who want to apply for the available posts can do so at the official website of RPSC which is rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. In case of government servant of Rajasthan, he/she will be given the age limit relaxation of at least five years.

The registration will begin from May 17 and is said to continue till June 16. The pay will be as per pay matrix level (L-12). The

Vacancy details:
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is offering a total of 8162 vacancies for the senior teachers’ posts.

For Geography there’s a total need of 782 teachers, for Economics 129 posts are available right now, 15 posts for Punjabi, 6 for Rajasthani, 5 for Public Administration, 32 for social science, 40 for Art and craft, 6 for the music subject.

For the subject of History, 613 posts for senior teachers are available, 118 posts for Commerce 166 for Life Science/ Biology
160 for Chemistry, 54 for Home Science, 849 for Hindi, 815 for political science, 187 for the subject of Physics, 370 for the Agriculture Science, 193 for Mathematics, 304 for English and the rest 166 posts for Sanskrit subject.

Educational qualification:
An interested applicant who wants to apply for the available posts needs to have a post-graduate degree in the relevant trade along with other required qualifications. The maximum age of an applicant should be 40 years and the minimum should be at least 20 years. Relaxation in age will later be provided as per the norms.

Examination Scheme:

The exam will carry total 450 marks. The question paper will be based on multiple choices. Paper 1 will be of 150 marks and Paper 2 will be of 300 marks. The duration for the completion of Paper 1 will be 1.5 hours and for the Paper 2 the time shall be 3 hours. For every wrong answer, 1/3rd marks will be deducted.

Paper-I General awareness and General Studies

History of Rajasthan and Indian History with special emphasis on Indian National Movement: 15 questions, 30 marks

Current affairs: 10 questions, 20 marks

General Science, Indian Polity, Geography of Rajasthan: 15 questions, 30 marks

Paper-II – Subject concerned

Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Senior Secondary Level: 55 questions, 110 marks

Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Graduation Level: 55 questions, 110 marks

Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Post Graduation Level: 10 questions, 20 marks

Candidates have to ensure to fill all information regarding their education, personal data and contact details in a correct and proper manner. The Commission has made it clear that in case a candidate’s phone does not function properly or there is a problem with the network, the responsibility lies with the candidate.
