IndiGo Offer: Now, Book Flight Tickets For As Low As Rs 899
In a whole new sale called ‘Fare-tastic Winters!’, Budget passenger carrier IndiGo is offering ticket fares with the lowest price starting from Rs 899 for domestic flights and Rs 3,199 for international flights, respectively. The booking has begun today and it will last till 25 November.
In the five-day booking period, tickets can be booked for those who want to travel from 6 December 2018 to 15 April 2019, as mentioned on IndiGo’s official website.
Starting fares on some of the IndiGo routes under the latest offer include Delhi-Ahmedabad (Rs 1599), Delhi-Bengaluru (Rs 2,899), Delhi-Chennai (Rs 2,899), Delhi-Bhubaneswar (Rs 2,799), Mumbai-Bengaluru (Rs 1,899), Mumbai-Ahmedabad (Rs 1,299), Bengaluru-Ahmedabad (Rs 1,999) and Bengaluru-Bhubaneswar (Rs 2,199).
The reduced fares are valid only on non-stop flights across IndiGo’s domestic and international network for a travel period of December 6 to April 15. The customers can book flights starting from 06:00 hours on November 21, 2018, up to 23:59 hours on November 25, 2018, the airline said in a statement on its website.
The offer is valid for bookings made during this period and should be at least 15 days prior to the date of departure. IndiGo is offering discounted airfares even as the aviation sector is reeling under so many blows affecting operating profitability of companies in this space.
The airline, however, has been blaming competitors for low-priced flight tickets in India, this is what co-founder and interim CEO Rahul Bhatia had told analysts during last month’s earnings call, “At IndiGo, it is never our practice to take the lead in discounting fares but, as due to the current industry environment, other airlines, desperate to raise cash, are dropping fares, IndiGo had no choice but to match them”.
Last month, IndiGo had launched a Diwali special sale, offering customers all-inclusive fares starting from Rs 899. In that Diwali sale, IndiGo had offered 10 lakh seats up for grabs. One of the world’s fastest growing market, which is the Indian aviation market has maintained its growth momentum this year. Domestic airlines carried 10.27 crore passengers in the first nine months of the year, a growth of 21% from the same period of the last year.
