Here’s How You Can Easily Recover Lost Data From iOS/Android Device
As your device stores tons of important data on it, it may annoy you so much if you lose your files on your device suddenly. For instance, you may delete the photos, contacts, text messages and so on by accident. This can a huge loss but there are ways to get it back. With Android and iOS becoming more diverse with each passing day, it has become significantly easy to retrieve your lost data.
Here’s a step by step way to do that.
For Android devices, you can download a third-party app from Google Play Store. There are a number of options you can choose from. Apps like DiskDigger and Deleted Photo Recovery are the simplest ones to use. Once you’ve deleted something, you can use the app to scan the device for recently deleted files. In this way, you’ll be able to retrieve the images that were deleted.
For iOS users, it’s much simpler. The latest iOS will create a Recently Deleted folder in Photos app. Deleted items will remain in the folder for 30 days. So even if you delete something in a hurry, you can always restore it from that folder. But if you’ve deleted something permanently you will have to use your iCloud or iTunes to restore the lost data.
Contacts and Text messages
For Android users, there are apps to retrieve your contacts and text messages. Apps like Fone Paw Android Data Recovery and Android Data Recovery are the most popular ones and these are available in the Google Play Store free of cost.
For iOS users, Apple has seen to it that users don’t rely on third-party apps. So, if you lose your contact list or text messages, all you have to do is go to iTunes and click on your phone in the top right corner and then click on ‘Restore Backup’. Doing this, your iOS device will recover all the texts and contacts that have been backed up on iTunes.
Another alternative is using iCloud. Log in to your iCloud account using your Apple ID and password, then click on the icon for Text Messages. Here you can choose all the texts you would want on your phone.
