Vodafone is trying to stay in the game after the Vodafone-Idea merger in order to compete with both Reliance Jio as well as Bharti Airtel. After launching a new Rs. 1,499 yearly prepaid recharge plan, Vodafone has now revised its Rs. 209 and Rs. 479 prepaid recharge plans to offer more daily data to its subscribers.

This development comes after the Rs. 199 and Rs. 459 prepaid plans from Vodafone were revised to offer 1.5GB of daily data instead of 1.4GB. The Vodafone Rs. 209 and Rs. 479 prepaid recharge plans are now offering 1.6GB of daily high-speed data with up to 84 days of validity. The Vodafone Rs. 529 which also offers 1.5GB of daily data hasn’t been revised by the private telco.

With the validity of the total 28 days, the Rs. 209 prepaid recharge plan from Vodafone comes with 1.6GB of daily high-speed data, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, 100 SMS per day and a complimentary subscription to Vodafone Play services.

With the validity of 84 days, the Rs. 479 prepaid recharge plan from Vodafone comes with 1.6GB of daily high-speed data, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls, 100 SMS per day and a complimentary subscription to Vodafone Play services.

It should be noted that there is no FUP limit on the unlimited voice call benefits in both Vodafone Rs. 209 and Rs. 479 prepaid recharge plans. To recall, a couple of weeks ago, telcos such as Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea revised the Rs 399 prepaid plan. The revised Rs 399 plan from Vodafone offers 1GB data per day, which is down from the older 1.4GB data per day benefit. The plan now offers benefits for 84 days to every prepaid customer.
