9,739 Vacant Posts Available In Indian Railways; Check Details Here
A notification has been released by Indian Railways about 9,739 vacant seats for the post of Constable and Sub-Inspectors through the RPF and RPSF Recruitment 2018. Interested candidates can apply through the online portal railwayrecruitmentgov.in and http://indianrailways.gov.in. The willing candidates can apply for the post from June 1, 2018, and the last date to apply is June 30, 2018.
The minimum age to apply for this post is 18 and the maximum age for the candidate to apply for Constable Post is 25 years. The age limit for the post of Sub Inspector Post is between 20 to 25 years. Age relaxation will be given as per Indian government norms. The nationality of the interested candidates must be Indian.
The minimum eligibility required for the post of constable is 10th/ Metric degree from a Recognized Board and the candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university to apply for the post of sub-inspector. Both male and female can apply for the post of constable and sub-inspector.
The physical standard of the candidate will be tested and the interested candidates must satisfy the standards set by the recruitment authority. The physical standard for various criteria have been given below
9739 vacancies are available for the post of sub-inspector and for the post of constable. There are 8619 seats available for the post of constable and the number of seats available for the post of sub-inspector is 1120 posts (Men- 454 Posts/ Female – 301 Posts).
The application can be filled using the online mode, the candidates willing to apply have to first reach the official website of RPF. The applicants have to perform the registration process. The applicants have to click on the link of online application and they have to fill the basic details such as Name, Address, Mobile Phone Number, E-mail Address, Parent’s Name, Aadhaar ID, Educational Qualification Details and other information etc.
After the above details are filled and submitted, the candidate will receive an OTP to log in and it will be further used to fill the fee for the application. An application fee of Rs.500 will be charged from the candidates of the UR category. 400 rupees will be refunded if the candidate appears in the examination. 250 rupees will be charged from the candidates of Reserved Category (SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Minorities/ Economically Backward Classes) and the application fee will be refunded if the candidate appears for the examination. When the fee is refunded, the bank charges will be deducted from it.
The payment for the application can be done both by online and offline mode. Modes of online payment are Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card and modes of offline payment are Post Office Challan/ Bank Branch Challan. The candidate who accidentally filled wrong details in the application may lose his/her candidature. But the information may be corrected by filling 250 rupees as the modification charge to correct the wrong information.
